Wall Street Women are Paid Worst of all--comparatively

The whole country is an uproar—and sharpening their pitchforks--about the salaries and bonuses paid to the Wall Street Titans who just collapsed our economy.

But who should really be outraged is women.  Not only are there few women in the top financial ranks, the ones there receive a fraction of the funds. Of course,  women whose families have lost their homes,  should be most outraged about these predatory loan scams.

For years, we’ve known that women earn less than men—about 77 cents to every male dollar.

But on Wall Wtreet, the most highly paid woman got paid less than half as much as the top paidmale.

Zoe Cruz, the co-president of Morgan Stanley earned 29.7million in 2006 with all the bonuses. (she was ousted in 2007)  The highest earning man Lloyd Blankfen pulled in $53 the same year. 

That’s a ratio of 55 cents to the male dollar—worse than single mothers.
