Tell Goldman Sachs What to do

Millions of families have already experienced  foreclosure.  To staunch the devastation, the Obama administration introduced The Making Home Affordable progam.  The program could help four million families keep their homes by modifying their mortgages.

The group Momsrising among others wants to pressure more mortgage companies to participate.  You can help by signing this tweeting petition to Goldman Sachs which owns oa company that hasn't signed on.

With 75 billion dollars in federal subsidies, the program requires mortgage companies to promise to practice mortgage prevention.

So far many mortgage servicers have signed up--representing 80% of outstanding loans.  But four major players: Litton
(owned by Goldman Sachs), HomEq (owned by Barclays), OneWest (owned by  IndyMac), and American Home Mortgage (collectively labeled “The Homewrecker 4”) have yet to sign on to the program.
