The National Interactive Sarah Palin Report Card: Comments and Evaluations

Is Sarah Palin a Good Mother?

I will say why Sarah Palin would be a liability as a potential President. Have you ever noticed that when you bring your children onto an airplane they will not allow you to sit in the exit seat? Do you know why? Statistically a woman with children would put the other passengers at risk if an incident required opening the exit doors. Her instinct would be to protect her children before herself and any of the other passengers. The numbers speak for themselves. I could give more examples, but I am on my lunch break and need to get back to work.

She was not picked as Mc Cain's running mate because she is the best qualified candidate; she was picked because the Republicans needed a person other than a white man. Sorry and let us not deceive ourselves.Alaska is so far removed from the day to day lives of Americans in the lower 48 states. This woman cannot have any idea what the typical American family is experiencing. She does not have any life experience is a multi-cultural community like New York, Chicago; even Alabama. She is a phony and a puppet to be used by the Republican Party. With their sleazy tactics I am not surprised

Think back to when Bush and Mc Cain were in the running for Presidential nominations back in 2000. Google on the accusations the Bush campaign leveled against Mc Cain and be assumed that will be a tool for the Democratic Party.Back to Palin; how can a mother of 5 tend to the needs of her children and represent our great country. How can this woman make any decision without subconsciously taking into account the welfare of her children?  Now the field of Psychology speaks for the dangers of this woman hold such a high office. If McCain/Palin wins in November this country will continue to decline domestically and around the world. This country has never seen such hard times as it is going through now. Why is Russia invading its neighbors? Because they see us as a threat. Why is terrorism against America on the rise? Because we are hated, and put yourself in the shoes of an Iraqi father whose wife and children were accidentally killed by US Soldiers. Why can't we just accept the insignificant and quaint country of Cuba? It is 2008 and 1961 was a long time ago.We need a fresh new approach and even if it is an experiment, it needs to happen NOW! Forget about the labels each party gets attached to them. It is the moderate undecided American who decides who our next President will be. It’s not the liberal elite and it's not the Christian Right. They have an agenda which has nothing to do with real issues. It's time to say, "It’s the 21st Century and just like the great 20th century experiment of Communism has failed, the US must drop the reminets of it's Cold War rhetoric. We were caught off guard on 9/11 (BTW I grew up in NYC and watched those towers being built and I do not need a Right Wing zealot from South Dakota, Alabama, Utah or Alaska telling me anything related to 9/11).

Mc Cain will only continue the Bush Policy while Palin will be giving her staff dumb looks when they speak of international issues and the hardship that we see so prevalent in Michigan, Ohio and California. Obama will assemble a highly qualified staff to advise him while Biden will be an asset to his foreign policy.  Please, George Bush was and remains the most incompetent President in the history of America. He has trashed and disrespected our Constitution and Bill of Rights. He has squandered our surplus by invading Iraq on a lie. He and Cheney see the American people as stupid and both have looked us in the eye and deceived us. How many people have died because of these men over the last 8 years? How many families were torn apart by divorce as financial stresses pushed the American family to the breaking point.

In the last 8 years my life and my precious family were torn apart because making ends meet required I travel for my last job.Over 50% of children live in single parent families. The issues of the last 8 years are why I lost my wife and she was my best friend, the reason our only child sees his father a few times a year, why both me and the ex-wife live lonely lives and have to make ends meet by ourselves (I know many singles in their 40’s and I can say that we are a majority of Americans who paid dearly). Yes my family is no more and I am not alone. With 50% of us divorced how many will marry again? Less than 30%. Women ages 35 to 50 are the biggest victims as they will suffer emotionally and financially. Most will not marry again and it is unlikely they will ever be a part of a long term intimate relationship with a man they can call their “best friend”, their partner and romantic associate. Men will have a better chance, but I know that  any kind of relationship will not come close to the 25 years me and the ex-wife spent building a family and a life together. Sadly when the empty nest comes she will not be the woman who will accompany me as I do what I love; travel. I am happy to say that we do get along and have a nice post divorce relationship. I know I am not alone; how many no-fault divorces would have been avoided if the stressors of society we less and those marriage intrusions had stayed away. Mine was a mistake and she has told me this. I do agree, but I had to rebuild my life from the ground up and  she does not fit into the puzzle. Even she said this.  I hate divorce and I hate war. Rest be assured that both divorce and war will continue to prosper if Mc Cain and Palin end up in the Whitehouse come January 2009.

It's time for change.  Einstein said, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and getting
