Doc Rough Aunties Airs on HBO May 19th

After winning prizes at Sundance and HotDocs, Rough Aunties is getting a TV debut.

The Rough Aunties are a group of  South African women who work on behalf of the children of Durban.  These five women of different races fight for these abused children--within a rotted system and decaying communities. And somehow, the film ends in such a way that reviewers use the word inspiring,hopeful  and empowering.
