Best employers for Women in Canada offer Flex, coaching--even financial help

Mom-friendly workplaces don't look like the average company. They've got stuff like financial planners, coaches, yoga classes, job-sharing and emergency childcare.  And they might also have a woman at the helm.

Connect Moms, momcafe and the founder of Briefcase moms (need we say more) has created the third annual list of the best employers in Canada. A few big corporations like Dell, IBM Kraft make the cut.

But what's really noteworthy:  a whole bunch of women-owned entrepreneurial firms like Mabel's Labels, Please Mum, Nannies on Call. and Sweetspot offer staff some really good stuff like:  five volunteer days for women's organizations, mini-massages, lunch and learn sessions, and gradual reentry after mat-leave.
